Summer Reading Challenge

This summer Tinkerbell is taking up a summer reading challenge.

Every year book stores, libraries, and service programs like PBS or SCHOOLASTIC put out summer reading incentive programs. The programs propose to the child a free book for reading a determined amount of books.

Barnes & Noble's requirement is 8 books.
Borders is 10
Schoolastic has an online log journal with electronic prices
Pottery Barn has a list


We started our reading adventure this morning at 10 AM, 26 minutes later and Tink has read 5 books already.Looks like we will be taking a trip to Barnes & Noble this afternoon!

-----Looks like 44 minutes of straight reading is Tinks limit.

So its the end of June 13th and Cara's already read all 8 books!! Looks like I'm gonna have to go to B&N to get her book tomorrow.
