Haiku

Back when I was in college and my writing skills were not too far gone, I used to enjoy writing poetry, mostly free verse & narrative form. I thought it would be swell to share some of that with you today, but once I got charged up and going I changed my mind. Why you ask? Well, no matter how hard I try my poetry always ends up dark, too intense and sometimes plain depressing, he he.

Instead I will present a Haiku.

In Fall we give Thanks.
Praise to life and family,
feast on a life taken.
